A boat capsized and the young boatman rescued a 16 year old girl. He took her to his home where everybody sympathised with the girl who was still dazed. A little of the hot pepper soup served her did not offer much help but she slept as if sedated. In the dead silence of the night, the boatman took advantage of his home front and the girl's helplessness and went into the girl in her deep slumber. She only muttered a slight sound. In the morning, she noticed there was a mixture of pap-like substance and blood between the her thighs. The long and short of the whole story is that the attack resulted in pregnancy and the delivery of twin boys. That did not deter the girl. That's a wonderful write up. Clear manifestation of man's brutality . Why would a full grown man do that to a little girl ? Well I doubt if d man is normal . He will definitely be punished for that brutality
ReplyDeleteDo you know that immediately he stepped out of the room, their local poisonous ancestral snake bit him on his run away leg. He applied snake antidote to it and went to bed. He failed to wake up in the morning. Someone said the punishment for rape in Naija should be death. Do you agree?
ReplyDeleteAha dat serves him right. D snake did well. No no no! I disagree absolutely, death should nt be d penalty to raping . It will be too harsh ,rather a jail term will be most appropriate . Most rapists do it under d influence of alcohol or drugs . Dem no dey do am with corocoro eye lol.
DeleteRaped girls may feel like it is a jail sentence. They feel it is like murder so if the rapist dies, I guess it would be okay with them.

DeleteIf the man is not killed what does it make him? An unrepentant rapist who is ready to do it again and again. Meanwhile, the raped girl's psyche has been killed. Once death penalty comes in, rape will go forever.
DeleteNo death penalty is still harsh. I know d girl will be psychologically down but d girl can still be helped by changing her environment or let a psychologist work on her. If d guy is killed can't u see it will be double punishment for him! Death and hell .

The ultimate remedy is good up bringing . If a child is brought up it d right way he or she will never depart from it.
We are here talking abt rape,d offence our leaders commit everyday, is it not more than rape? And nothing happens to them .
I am gender blind. My view is anyone found guilty should go for it. We are saying the same thing. A criminal is a criminal and should be punished adequately. Why and how did Ghana become better than Nigeria? Rawlings killed all the corrupt ones.
